the FACULTY OF

BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES


The faculty was formerly known as the HELP Centre for Psychology which was established in 1999. The Faculty of Behavioural Sciences, which was established in 2006, now houses the Department of Psychology along with the Centre for Applied Studies in Emotional Intelligence (CASEI) formerly known as Asian Research Center for Child & Adolescent Development (ARCCADE), the Center for Youth Formation and Leadership (CYFOL), CAREERsense@HELP and the Psychology and Counselling Clinic.

The mission of the Faculty of Behavioural Sciences is to have a positive impact on people in this region by providing quality education and conducting quality research in the area of human behaviour, thought, emotion, relationships, learning and development. This is reflected in the Faculty motto:

It is my distinct pleasure to welcome you to the HELP University College Psychology program. We are proud that our University College has become synonymous with the field of psychology in Malaysia and this has been due to the excellence shown by our students and faculty over the years.
