 | Phang, Michelle, BAccy (Mississippi), MBA (Georgia State) lecturerMichelle Phang is an accounting lecturer in the Department of Business Studies. She graduated with Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Mississippi (Oxford, USA) in 1992. Later, she pursued a master degree at the Georgia State University (Atlanta, USA) and graduated in 1994 with MBA in International Business. She has compiled an impressive scholastic record as a student. Her academic recognition includes memberships in Alpha Lambda Delta (1990); Phi Kappa Phi, Golden Key, Beta Alpha Psi, Omicron Delta Epsilon (1991); and Beta Gamma Sigma (1992).
Prior to joining HELP Institute in 1999, she was a lecturer in accounting and economic at KDU College. Formerly, she was an accountant cum financial analyst at Akzo Nobel (Atlanta, USA). In addition, she also served in the International Development Research Council (Atlanta, USA); a non-profit organization; as the Asia/Pacific Regional Manager.
She is a member of the American Accounting Association and currently pursuing her PhD at University Putra Malaysia. |
